Apple release iOS 5.1 BETA 3 for iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, 3G and iPad 2,1. It is available only for developers in the Apple’s Dev Center.

You can download iOS 5.1 for your device from the developer’s website.

Finally iOS5 has been released for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad2, iPad1, iPod 4G and iPod 3G. The new iOS 5 has a lot of new features including Wireless Syncing, iMessage, Newsstand, Twitter integration, Enhanced Notification and Reminders, better camera app, better browser (safari) etc.

How to upgrade to iOS 5 – iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad2, iPad1, iPod 4G and iPod 3G

Step 1: Download and install iTunes 10.5 for Windows / Mac

Step 2: Download iOS 5 for  iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad2, iPad1, iPod 4G and iPod 3G – Click Here or here (for all iOS downloads)

Step 3: Connect your iPhone into your computer via USB and in iTunes hold (Alt in Mac) (Shift in Windows) and click on the ‘restore’ button then point it to iOS 5 you download above. Follow on screen instructions to complete the installation.
