@ Shamaila: install it on your oldy goldy 6610 these APIs are supporting J2ME....so ideally it should also work for 6610....

phones which can support J2ME (Java Application / JAR files) can use this client...the quality may vary depending on the handset........

If your phone supports "Voice over IP (VoIP) calls via integrated WLAN" feature then it would be AWESOME. A symbian 9.1 would be a good choice....

EGPRS which can support above 200 kbps ... 296 kbps would be more better if your network supports that.

Finally, if you are on GPRS and still want to get it working just give it a try.... theoretically it should work .... the fact is that the downlink which is standard for the communication is somewhere around 40 - 50 kbps.

Yeah, it is working but quality is not there. Nokia 6610 shipped with GPRS Class 6 (3+1/2+2 slots), 24 - 36 kbps... :(

I am not able to test it on old devices...hv u tested with SIS emulator or what..???
